Kevin Shields continues to dripfeed fans with select details about the next My Bloody Valentine album.
We already knew that the new album was originally begun in the mid 1990s, then shelved due to inter-band wrangling and label problems. Shields has now stated that the record is an “impressionistic album” assembled from discrete fragments of material. The album (currently bereft of a title) is nine tracks long, and should be out by the end of the year.
