Thirty one years after his tragic death, John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, says she still can’t bear to move out of their Upper West Side home, The Dakota.
“It is the home John and I created together. Every wall witnessed John,” Ono said. “It is the only home Sean [the couple's only child] knows to be ours. How could we leave?”
The legendary Beatle was assassinated outside their apartment building on Dec. 8, 1980.
Ono, 78, said she believes Lennon “would definitely be experimenting on some new music, using the computer,” if he were alive today. Ono on the other hand looks to be kicking out the jams with OKC’s favorite sons The Flaming Lips.
