The Flaming Lips’ frontman Wayne Coyne recently spoke about the progress of the band’s collaboration with Nick Cave, stating they’ve already recorded one “really good” song together. The duo have been speaking about a hook-up since they both appeared at this year’s Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona in May.

Coyne told Pitchfork that they’re planning to work on more material after Cave finishes touring later this year, adding: “I think we’ll get a good Nick Cave collection of songs with the Flaming Lips. We already have one really good one, so that seems like it’ll work out.”
