Adele, PJ Harvey and Elbow Nominated for 2011 Mercury Prize

Adele, PJ Harvey and Elbow will battle it out for the Mercury Prize in September after the nominations were announced in London on Tuesday, July 19.

Adele receive a nod for ’21,’ the biggest-selling record of the year so far, while Harvey has received a nomination for ‘Let England Shake,’ which has been a massive hit with the critics. Harvey won in 2001 for her album ‘Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea.’
