Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner’s album to have ’60s’ vibe
Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and The Rascals’ Miles Kane’s album is set to have a “60s” sound to it.
James Ford, who produced the album, told BBC 6Music that the album – a joint effort by the two musicians – also said that the sound was quite a departure from Arctic Monkeys.
“It’s quite different sounding than the Arctics’ I think,” he said. “It’s kind of ‘Sixties-y’ and there’s a lot of orchestration and stuff.”
Alex Turner and Miles Kane recorded the album in France last summer after becoming friends when their bands toured together.
