Kaiser Chiefs Hint At ‘Heavier’ Second Album
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has hinted that the band’s second album will take a heavier direction.
The portly singer admitted that the long-player will be shaped by the band’s time on the road where they are more inclined to ‘rock out’.
He told BBC 6 music: “We’ve been on tour all year and we’ve kind of become heavier as a band – but that’s just because we’ve been enjoying rocking out. And it’s a lot of fun to rock out.”
He went on to say that he is looking forward to the opportunity to record the second album and the pressure isn’t getting to the band. He said: “This year has been hard work and next year is more about reaping the benefits, I think.
People keep asking about the second album – ‘Are you under pressure or worried or whatever?’ – but we are really looking forward to it. It’s the light at the end of the tunnel for us.”
