Kingblind Turn On’s

Kingblind Turn On’s is our spot to highlight a great new band (or bands) that you need to know more about. We will have MP3’s, Tour info, videos and more of these new up and coming acts. We hope you enjoy them. Our bands this time around are INNAWAY & ESTHERO

About Innaway:: (Home Base:: Southern California)
Born from the kindling of myriad influences (Zeppelin and Floyd, Tortoise and Air), Innaway’s ambient sound is delicately layered with guitar rock sensibilities. The result: songs both eerily relaxed and starkly dynamic; a mushroom-fueled stroll from dusk to eve. Always a wall of sound and sonic harmony, Innaway has been blowing minds with its live performances up and down California for the past two years. Last year Innaway became the resident band at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa. They built a devoted following and impressed club owners by regularly bringing in large crowds on normally slow Monday nights. Most recently the band has played with notable bands like Pinback, Blonde Redhead, Dios Malos and the French Kicks.

Esthero:: (Home Base:: Toronto Canada)
Esthero was much more than a one-night stand. 1998’s Breath From Another was the catalyst that sparked a love movement in which the years that followed were spent waiting and longing for her return. Blessing us with gifts such as “Country Livin’ (The World I Know),” “Swallow Me” and “That Girl,” she was indeed “Heaven Sent.” Esthero was our breath of fresh air. Her voice – often imitated, never duplicated – reached a part of our souls that had previously remained dormant. She was our beacon of light. A sacred blend of jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and rock, Esthero became our best-kept secret. Well folks.. Now the secrets out of the bag.. Enjoy
