Trail Of Dead CD On Hold Until Next Year

The second-full length album from Texas-based rock act …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead has been pushed from its planned Oct. 5 release date to January, according to a post from group member Conrad Keely on Keely attributes the change to Interscope’s crowded schedule of high-profile fall releases from U2, No Doubt and Eminem. “They don’t want to have to dust ours under the rug,” he says. “This happens in the industry sometimes. There are other reasons, such as we don’t wash our hair and we need to take promo pictures.” The upcoming album is thought to be named “Worlds Apart.” Songs earmarked for the set include the title cut, “Caterwaul” and the epic “Will You Smile Again?,” which has been featured in Trail Of Dead’s 2004 live shows. The album will be the follow-up to 2002’s “Source Tags & Codes.” (BB)
